SIOP/Master Planner in Belgium

We are seeking an expert SIOP/Master Planner to join our dynamic team. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for long-term demand forecasting, inventory management, and cross-functional coordination with sales, engineering, procurement, logistics, and production teams.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Developing and maintaining a balanced master production schedule that aligns production and inventory with sales forecasts and broader business objectives over a longer horizon.

• Creating and updating the daily master production schedule based on demand, production capacities, and inventory levels.

• Coordinating with engineering, procurement, logistics, and production teams to align schedules and resources, and monitoring production progress to adjust schedules for any delays, shortages, or other issues.

• Analyzing and reporting on production performance, identifying areas for improvement, implementing solutions, and reporting on build targets and achievements to the group.

• Communicating schedule changes and updates to relevant stakeholders, including the IPM team, in a timely manner.

• Collaborating with the Sales team on lead time definition during the quotation process and at order entry.

• Participating in cross-functional meetings to discuss production plans, challenges, and strategies.

• Ensuring compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.

• Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to production schedules and activities.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or a similar role.

• Fluency in English and French, with the ability to work effectively in an English and French-speaking environment.

• Proficiency in scheduling software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, MS Project, Excel; Odoo is a plus).

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Who You Are:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production planning, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices is a plus.
