This is your opportunity to take your career to the next level, embrace new challenges, and continue making a difference.We work for a brighter future, thinking today about the world of tomorrow. ​Don’t miss the chance to shape your #FutureInSight with us!Your role:The Business Product Owner (PO) plays a crucial role in the product development lifecycle, serving as the bridge between Opcos, Regional Optical EMEA Teams (Store Ops, IT, Marketing), Corporate teams (IT, Logistic, Planning and Master data) and external consultants (Zuora, Sidea as System integrator).The PO is responsible for defining the vision, managing the product backlog, prioritizing features, and ensuring the product meets the business needs and delivers value to final consumers.The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills.Main responsibilities:Product Vision & Strategy:

  • Define and communicate the product vision, goals, and strategy in alignment with business objectives.
  • Act as the product’s advocate, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market trends.

Backlog Management:

  • Create, refine, and prioritize the product backlog (new developments/ bugs fixing) based on business value, Opcos feedback, and technical feasibility.
  • Ensure that the IT Stakeholders (internal and 3rd parties) always has a clear understanding of the most valuable features to deliver.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Work closely with stakeholders (Opcos, Corporate Regional teams – stores ops / master data / logistic / etc.) to gather requirements and align the product roadmap.
  • Regularly update stakeholders on the product’s progress and key decisions.

Feature Definition & Prioritization:

  • Write clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Prioritize features, ensuring that the team focuses on the most critical aspects first.

Sprint Planning & Agile Facilitation:

  • Participate in sprint planning, grooming, daily standups, and retrospectives.
  • Provide guidance and decision-making support to the development team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality features.

Product Launch & Post-Launch:

  • Coordinate product releases and ensure smooth deployment by working with cross-functional teams (QA, DevOps, etc.).
  • Gather feedback from post-launch and service delivery post-launch to improve future iterations and address issues promptly.

NETWORK OF INTERACTION:INTERNAL: Regional EMEA Team, VaaS Manager at Country Level, Eyecare Team, Store Operations, Finance, HR, Marketing, ITEXTERNAL: External ConsultantsMain requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business, or a related field. MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CSPO, SAFe PO) is a plus.
  • Experience: 5 years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or related role in Agile software development.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with software development processes, Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), and tools like JIRA, or similar. Experience with Subscription management and Zuora are highly recommended / Proficiency in Zuora is a must.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.
  • Leadership: Strong decision-making abilities and experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to balance conflicting priorities, solve complex problems, and make critical decisions under pressure.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis, market research, and understanding customer needs to inform product decisions.
  • Experience with software or digital product development.
  • Understanding of UX/UI principles and customer journey mapping.
  • Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, JIRA or other tracking and analytical tools.
  • Italian/English
