If you’re excited about joining a European fintech adventure, Swan is the way!To learn more about us: ; .Job descriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced KYC Team Lead to join our rapidly expanding team. The role involves dedicating approximately 50% of the time to KYC review activities, such as customer onboarding (KYB-KYC), transaction investigations, and handling edge cases, and the other 50% to team management and training.As part of our AML activity scaling efforts, we have three teams that are continuously growing and need support.✨ Main TasksTeam Management and Training:
- Operational monitoring, including tracking performance indicators and live coordination.
- Assigning team tasks, such as processing KYC reviews and onboarding new customers.
- Onboarding and training new team members on KYC procedures and practices.
- Providing ongoing training and coaching to enhance the team’s performance.
- Monitoring service quality and operations execution for continuous improvement.
- Managing outsourced operations when necessary.
Scale & Optimize:
- Addressing significant challenges related to scaling and optimizing current KYC processes, workflows, and tools while collaborating with product, engineering, operations, risk & compliance, and sales departments.
- Ensuring the implementation and enhancement of new processes, fostering energy and momentum with various stakeholders to ensure consistent, scalable operations**.**
- Developing and implementing processes to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the KYC/Anti-Money Laundering (AML) process.
- Contributing to the maintenance and updating of operational procedures related to KYC/AML processes.
Production:
- Running quality controls.
- Addressing edge cases escalated by the team.
- Ensuring compliance with procedures, internal policies, and applicable legislation.
Preferred experience✨ You’re a great match if:
- You have significant experience as a Lead in the KYC/AML/Financial Security area. Experience in fintech, payment, banking, or within a start-up/scale-up or fast-paced work environment would be a plus.
- You have a strong understanding of the AML/CFT regulatory framework.
- You possess strong leadership and team management skills.
- You enjoy optimizing internal processes to deliver superior customer satisfaction. This requires a proactive approach and the ability to think creatively.
- Proven success in formulating and executing strategies based on your deep knowledge of operations metrics and analytics.
- You have strong analytical skills and an eye for detail, which enables you to quickly make data-informed decisions.
- You have a sense of production priority and urgency.
- You can effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders in English. Proficiency in French is a plus.
- You’re not afraid of hands-on work and have a strong ‘do-er’ mentality.
