Contract: Full-time, Temp-to-PermWe are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher to join a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Birmingham. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher to make a significant impact on young learners.   • Deliver engaging and effective teaching and learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that supports children’s learning and development.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with parents/carers.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and implement a rich and varied curriculum.

If appointed as EYFS Lead, additional responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and managing the EYFS team to ensure high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Driving the development of the EYFS curriculum, policies, and practices.
  • Supporting the professional development of staff through mentoring, coaching, and training.
  • Analysing data to inform improvements and ensure positive outcomes for all pupils.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold QTS and have a strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
  • Be passionate about early childhood education and committed to supporting every child’s potential.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, colleagues, and parents/carers.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational and classroom management skills.
  • Have previous experience or demonstrate the capability to take on leadership responsibilities (if applying for EYFS Lead).
