Join us today and experience Life at Visa.Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced and strategic Sr. Manager to join the Payment Products Development PMO, supporting the Client Services and Global Sales space. This successful candidate will lead a team of Technical Program Managers and Agile Project Managers, who lead enterprise-class software programs and projects.Essential Functions:Provide leadership and oversight to a team of Technical Program Managers and Agile Project Managers for the planning, execution, and delivery.Manage the professional development and growth of direct reports with an emphasis on inclusion and continuous growth, including goal and performance management.Coach business and technology stakeholders on the value and purpose of agile framework, specifically Scrum and SAFe.Develop and empower direct reports to make appropriate program and project-related decisions while fostering a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and mentoring.Direct project portfolio activities, conduct reviews, and use strong technical and business acumen to manage risk and address escalated impediments.Identify and manage dependencies and impacts among programs and projects across the portfolio. Raise issues and risks and drive resolution or mitigation.Support budget management (forecasting, reconciliation, areas for opportunity, etc.) for a 20M + USD annual budget.Assist in the coordination and facilitation of quarterly and fiscal year planning activities across multiple organizations and teams.Ensure that all programs and projects are in compliance with Visa’s Project Management Methodology and Key Controls, and that accurate and timely information is collected and reported regularly on project portfolio progress and financial status.This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office three set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.QualificationsBasic Qualifications:
- 8+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree, OR 11+ years of relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- 9+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
- Five or more years of experience in leading a technology centric PMO.
- Expertise in program, portfolio management with financial and budget management experience in a product delivery environment
- Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum and SAFe frameworks.
- Self-motivated and highly driven.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC principles and practices
- Exceptional collaboration and partnership skills in a global environment with cross-functional teams
- Must possess strong organizational and process management skills, ability to manage with influence in a highly matrixed environment.
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills for effective communication with multiple organizational levels, including senior management.
- Strong leadership, enthusiasm, and accountability with high attention to detail and quality
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, assignments, and roles.
- Entrepreneurial and flexible, strategic thinker who can balance strategy with detailed execution.
- Strong people management skills with demonstrated ability to grow and mentor a high performing team.
