The diversity of our talents is what makes our work environment multicultural, innovative and highly rewarding.About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated UGP Manager to join our team at the Ferrero Plant in Villers-Ecalles (France).With the dedicated support of approximately 600 workers, we take pride in producing Nutella and Kinder Bueno.Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, the UGP Manager will play a key role in overseeing and optimizing our production processes, being the referring point for all the activities connected to the development, improvement, innovation of the product which falls under his/her supervision.Main Responsibilities:HEALTH & SAFETY

  • Guarantees that all regulatory and company safety standards and requirements, including necessary training activities, are respected and effective. Supports the development of local procedures/ work instructions
  • Communicates regularly on safety, including safety rules, work instructions and procedures, and learnings from incidents. Conducts safety inspections, dialogues and encourages the reporting of Near misses, Unsafe Acts – Conditions
  • Supports definition and ensures implementation of corrective actions for identified H&S non-conformities to avoid incidents in the workplace
  • Ensures management of incidents, including reporting requirements and participation in incident investigations

.FOOD SAFETY & QUALITY

  • Ensures the implementation of all actions aimed at guaranteeing the Food Safety & Quality of the products and the production processes for managed perimeter in accordance with Quality Procedures and Guidelines
  • Supports the implementation of new Group Procedures
  • Ensures cleaning, sanitization and housekeeping of the areas within his / her area of competence, verifying the observance of HACCP directives

.COST

  • Ensures the monitoring, reporting and optimization of the production factors utilization (material, method, labor force and machineries)
  • Supports the understanding of the efficiency, monitoring and optimization of indirect costs and selected other costs

DELIVERY

  • Supports the medium-long term planning of the operating activities on the lines within his/ her area of competence
  • Supports the planning for maintenance overhaul activities
  • Supports optimization activities to increase and stabilize production capacity
  • Supports industrial tests (product, packaging, raw material, …)

.MOTIVATION

  • Fosters the work force motivation through listening to work force needs, providing regular feedback and communicating the Group roadmap
  • Is responsible for the people and organizational development and know how transfer/ handover

ENVIRONMENT

  • Is responsible that all environmental standards on the lines are respected ensuring ISEE policies communication through info, training on environmental issues in the workplace

.CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

  • Supports the Plant Manager in the definition of Plant Master Plan, identifying the key priorities and preparing a 3 years horizon Plan including CAPEX, KPIs & operational objectives within his/her area of competence.
  • Drives Lean Manufacturing initiatives inside the UGP and ensures appropriate follow-up of the initiatives results
  • Supports the development of Digital Program and projects in his/her area of competence, ensuring proper involvement and training of the workforce and tools application, being an effective operational change agent

Who we are looking for:Profile

  • Master’s degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field
  • At least 4 years of professional experience in a managerial role in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge and experience in implementing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
  • Able to lead change management programs in different multi-cultural environments
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet project deadlines

Languages

  • Fluency in French and English
