Offer DescriptionThe Gene Therapy group, part of the RICORS Advanced Therapies Network (TERAV+), led by researcher Dr. Gloria González Aseguinolaza at the Cima of the University of Navarra (Pamplona, Spain), is seeking a postdoctoral researcher with experience and training in therapy for the treatment of rare diseases, ideally with expertise in developing strategies based on the use of adeno-associated virus (AAV)-based vectors as vehicles. The researcher will join the project under a 2-year contract.
This network focuses on the development of new therapeutic strategies for a wide range of diseases using gene therapy and cell therapy, with particular emphasis on their translation to the clinic. The projects developed at CIMA aim to create new gene therapy vectors for the treatment of rare diseases.Responsibilities of the selected candidate:
Leading a team responsible for:
The design, construction, and production of therapeutic vectors.
Assessing therapeutic efficacy in animal models of the disease.
Collaborating on other projects led by researchers within the network.

- Ph.D. in Sciences.
- Experience in molecular biology and working with cell cultures, ideally with experience in viral vector production.

- Proficiency in basic computer tools.
