We are seeking a motivated professional to join their team.Role Overview: Labour Relations ManagementThe Labour Relations Manager will play a crucial role in cultivating a positive work environment by implementing effective labor relations strategies. This position requires strategic management and negotiation skills to foster strong relations between management and employees. There will be a reorganization and this role will have to lead the negotiations with the unions. Please note that this will be an interim position lasting one year, without commitment to stay once the project is finished.Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage strategies for workplace relations in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Facilitate negotiations and maintain communication with trade unions and employee representatives.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations within the chemical industry.
  • Collaborate with human resources to address employee grievances and disputes efficiently.
  • Implement and monitor policies related to labor relations, ensuring a harmonious workplace.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to inform senior management on labor relations issues and progress.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Labour Relations, or related field.
  • Proven experience in labor relations management, preferably within the chemical sector or related (industry).
  • Strong understanding of labor laws and collective bargaining processes.
  • Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and build positive workplace relationships.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strategic problem-solving mindset.
