The Global Record-to-Report Operations team, within the Finance Hub, is tasked with delivering the end-to-end operational accounting process and activities, uphold quality and gain efficiencies across finance functions.We are hiring for an Indirect Tax Consultant, for the Company’s Global Indirect Tax Center of Excellence (ITX COE). This role will report to regional ITX Senior Manager and will support Indirect ITX function in Europe, to ensure adherence to indirect tax compliance & regulations.This is an Individual Contributor roleKey Responsibilities & Tasks:Member of the Global ITX COE, Indirect Consultant supports the day-to-day Indirect Tax (ITX) operations for selected countries to ensure effective & efficient ITX compliance process.Key responsibilities of the role include:ITX Compliance: preparation, review, timely submission, settlement and reconciliation activities related to ITX reporting e.g. VAT returns, Annual VAT returns, Intrastat returns, etc.ITX Audits: preparation (for ITX Senior Manager‘s review) replies to questions from tax authorities. The job holder will also be involved in health checks and monitor, assess and manage potential ITX risks for countries/legal entities under his remit.ITX Advisory: assistance and advice on a wide variety of day-to-day ITX questions from internal stakeholders; assisting process teams on correct ITX treatment/ coding.ITX Accounting: performing timely and correctly balance sheet reconciliations, reconciliation between ITX reports and accounting reports, and performing the necessary accounting follow-ups.Minimum Requirements:3+ years of indirect tax compliance experience in a multi-national company or Big4.Degree in finance/accounting or tax law/law is preferrable.Understanding of local Indirect Tax Regulations.Experience with ERP systems like SAP.Experience with ITX accounting management (reconciliations)Team player, proactive & not afraid to take initiative, strong analytical skills & follow-through, detail oriented.Able to work in a fast-paced environment, with ability to multi-task and adherence to changing priorities and deadlines.Fluent English.
