Job Description:As a Consultant in Power Markets & Systems, you will support clients in their long and short-term decision-making by providing relevant quantitative and qualitative insights. You should have a broad interest in integrating technical, economic, and regulatory aspects to help clients make optimized choices. Our clients include energy market players, investors, policymakers, and network companies.Your role will involve delivering insights that range from business case calculations for specific investments to macroeconomic and regulatory analyses that guide the best decisions for society and/or for the asset owner(s).The team mainly provides the following services: * Energy Marker and Asset Valuations, using bespoke and and tailor-made (simulation) models, and

  • Market and Regulations Advisory; Qualitative advisory services related to energy markets and regulatory frameworks.

This team of 12 people is part of our broader department Energy Markets & Strategy for northern Europe, with five teams based in Arnhem, one i Bonn (Germany) and one in Oslo (Norway).   • A broad interest in solving challenges in the energy market, with a focus on north-western Europe.
  • Ability to present insights to a wide audience, including non-experts.
  • A team player who enjoys collaborating across different disciplines and geographies to provide the best advice for clients.
  • Experience and ambition to work with various optimization and simulation models to gain insights into the economic optimization of power and energy systems is considered a strong plus.
  • You have finalized your academic education (Masters or PhD) in Economic or Technical studies
  • Working experience in the energy sector is considered a plus
