Offer DescriptionDepartment of Energy Conversion and Storage at the Faculty of Chemistry is seeking a qualified individual for a full-time Assistant Professor position. Planned employment period: 12 months.TASKS/ROLE

  • research work related to the development and optimization of recovery of anode and cathode active materials from spent lithium-ion cells
  • research work related to the physicochemical and electrochemical characterization of the recovered materials
  • interpretation and discussion of the research results obtained in the project
  • preparation of manuscripts based on results obtained within the project for publication in peer-reviewed scientific journals from JCR list
  • presentation of research results at scientific conferences

  • PhD in chemical sciences or materials science
  • excellent knowledge of the synthesis and modification of materials, in particular materials dedicated to lithium-ion batteries
  • knowledge of electrochemistry. Working experience in the study of electrode materials, in particular for lithium-ion cells
  • knowledge of English at an advanced level enabling research and publication of results
  • commitment to research and scientific work
  • ability to work in a team
  • hardworking
