Together, let’s sail towards a brighter, more sustainable future with Maersk.Key Responsibilities:You will take the ownership for the development of Business Intelligence (BI) solutions across Ocean business, Finance and assist in driving and maintaining the BI Product backlog, incl. validation, alignment and prioritization of BI data and product requirements from stakeholdersYou will take the ownership of Information Design: Comprehend the client’s information needs and develop solutions and be architecting design and delivery of BI products (data enablement, report and dashboard design).

  • Product Ownership:
  • Pursue philosophy of one set of numbers
  • Value roadmap creation and overall execution to ensure prioritized delivery of products to generate desired business outcomes
  • Monetization and tracking of value realization to enable transparency on strategic requirements
  • Assume overall accountability for value creation for a defined BI product portfolio stretching across the Ocean business
  • Business Intelligence and Analytics:
  • Control the specification, development, implementation and maintenance of global standardized data solutions and BI application initiatives
  • Push for Self-Service BI
  • Help define scope, priorities, requirements, and approach for BI products and communicate plans to departmental stakeholders
  • Responsible for the assurance of the accuracy and consistency of data
  • Provide insight, influence and impact business decisions
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
  • work closely with the Ocean stakeholders in Center and Regional teams
  • Liaise and coordinate within BI teams and the Global Data Analytics team

Who are we looking for:The successful person will have a combination of technical skills and business knowledge to drive product innovation at scale.The ideal candidate will have strong business acumen, including IT, data and process integration skills and be a super user of BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI & Dataiku).You have excellent social and communication skills combined with ability to condense detailed subject matters into clear and effective communications.Furthermore you:

  • Have excellent analytical, process flow and problem-solving skills
  • Are an excellent team player with the ability to work both independently, as well as and as part of a cross-departmental team where innovative solutions are required
  • Have proven trusted partnering skills – key parameters are meeting deadlines and manage stakeholder expectations
  • Have the ability to influence and drive change across multiple functional units.
