We are seeking an Associate Project Manager

Purpose Statement

 

Provide vision and leadership as an associate project manager for any approved project(s) from Global Supply Chain Lumenis Integration. These projects vary in size and scope but may include supporting new product development, acquisitions/divestitures, Quality/Regulation driven project work, technology development, as well as driving strategic and transformational changes that are needed at BSC.  These projects often have a medium to high level of complexity and visibility throughout the organization.  The project manager will be responsible for leading a cross-functional team of company professionals to evaluate, design, build, and implement solutions to support the project goals.  Additionally, this associate project manager will work collaboratively across functions, regions, and business units to develop the individual project strategies and tactical plans to deliver results. Interact with a variety of stakeholders to secure input, support, and resources. Assist in the facilitation of change in business practices.

The role would be an excellent development opportunity for a candidate seeking to expand their experiences in Project Management and relationships at BSC.  The project opportunities are dynamic and span multiple divisions, functions and regions across the organization. The role is Ireland based, supporting Yokne’am Urology (Israel).

 

Key Responsibilities

 

-Lead operations and quality improvement projects, determining objectives and deliverables, and ensuring achievement.
-Assist in the development and delivery of an appropriate project business plan, including resources, costs return on investment, and timing.
-Mentor Yokne’am Urology Engineering and/or Operations teams to support their development and organizational requirements
-Ensure that project deliverables meet regulatory and corporate standards.
-Monitor project progress, including budgets, interim milestones, and final deliverables.
-Manages individual project challenges and recommends solutions to address them.
-Identifies and addresses areas of project risk and implement strategies to mitigate project risks.
-Regularly present project status to individual team members, project team leadership, and company leadership as required.
-Partner with a variety of function, region, and business resources to develop and execute business plan, facilitate collaboration to achieve project objectives.
-Assist in implementing permanent changes to business practices to ensure overall effectiveness of the company.

 

Quality System Requirements

In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures.

For those individuals that supervise others, the following statements are applicable:

-Assures that appropriate resources (personnel, tools, etc.) are maintained in order to assure Quality System compliance and adherence to the BSC Quality Policy.
-Establishes and promotes a work environment that supports the Quality Policy and Quality System.
 
 

Minimum Education and Experience

 

-Bachelor’s degree required
-4-6 years of related work experience and 1+ years’ people and/or project management experience required
-Willingness to travel up to 15%
 
 

Preferred Qualifications

 

-Previous experience with larger scale projects, either as project lead or team member
-PMP certification is a plus
-Strong organization, execution and communication skills will be required, as well as a demonstrated ability to lead and work together with a cross functional team.
-Candidate must be comfortable in front of all levels of the organization
