We value our diverse workplace of close-knit teams and provide a place where everyone can be supported to learn and evolve.Job DescriptionARHS Group – part of Accenture – is looking for a Full Stack Developer experienced with AWS Serverless & TypeScript to deliver various projects/environments in which the client’s business can set up the websites according to the determined guidelines. for one of its clients in Brussels, a key player in the Belgian health insurance domain.ContextWithin the HR domain, our client works with a variety of external and in-house developed applications, such as Arno, Primetime, HCM Fusion (HRIS – Oracle), Learn (LMS – Oracle), Recruit (Recruitment – Oracle).Connecting those applications point-to-point, allows for a lot of integration work and maintenance. The integrations also come with limitations, requiring identical data input into different systems, which means extra work and a lack of data quality.In 2025, the client will also replace various applications with new ones, aiming for a completely new HR application landscape.To this end, the client is building an HR Connector, ensuring data integration between the various HR applications. The platform for the HR Connector is AWS and will work serverless.Role & responsibilities
- Detecting and understanding business requirements, you can translate that into pragmatic, maintainable applications.
- Delivering functional stories, together with your colleagues.
- Variety of tasks to help us build the HR Connector: whether this means coding backend logic, developing screens, or providing automatic end-to-end or API testing.
QualificationsYour profile
- Able to convince with your flexibility, smooth communication style and professional knowledge. You know how to distinguish yourself through your sense of analysis and synthesis combined with a high-quality and customer-oriented attitude. You see a deadline as a challenge.
- Enthusiastic, creative and dare to take initiative.
- Able to work independently, but also a team player.
- Fluent in Dutch or French and able to follow conversations in both national languages. Knowledge of English is necessary for smooth cooperation with partners.
- Able to thrive in a hybrid work environment, 3 to 4 days from home with great flexibility in your working hours.
Technical skills
- Rich range of best practices and you know when to apply which tool. A few certifications (e.g. AWS Associate Developer) would be considered an ass.
- You have an inclination for data integrations and can present some nice accomplishments.
- Flexibility in using any language and any framework. Typescript & AWS are used as our building blocks. Lambda, Step Functions, serverless architecture… Cost-conscious programming is second nature to you.
- Quality oriented (TDD) with a passion for continuous improvement.
- Extensive experience in building unit tests.
- Experience with serverless AWS developments would be considered an asset.
- Experience with Aurora would be considered an asset.
- Experience with the Agile methodology SCRUM is an asset.
