Position Overview:

12-month contract, based in either London or Manchester.

As the Marketing Manager within our Writing team, you will manage category, innovation and marketing activities for a portfolio full of iconic brands – including (but not limited to) Sharpie, Berol and Paper Mate – across the region.

Translating & implementing global strategies for specific regions to grow business success by partnering with global brand teams, you will have experience in optimising a portfolio assortment, including new product development and localised packaging.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Conducting performance analyses to identify growth opportunities, providing actionable recommendation.
  • Supporting with the regional marketing plans, aligned with goals and priorities for the region.
  • Defining and managing the regional portfolio assortment, including new product development and localised packaging.
  • Executing regional brand, distribution, and merchandising strategies, developing and deploying brand playbooks and selling decks.
  • Developing and executing consumer communications to drive purchase intent and enhance brand appeal.
  • Tracking brand performance, and adjusting marketing approaches based on ROI and other performance metrics.
  • Managing 1 direct report.

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in brand management, trade/channel management in retail and online platforms.
  • Background in FMCG/CPG (or related sector) preferred.
  • Proficiency in using tools such as ACNielsen, Circana, and NPD for business performance analysis.
  • Strong ability to leverage consumer insights and analytics to drive brand growth
