The Role:
- Teach English Language and Literature to A-Level students, inspiring them with a passion for the subject and equipping them with the skills to succeed in their studies and beyond.
- Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities.
- Contribute to the development of a challenging and enriching English curriculum that fosters critical thinking, analytical skills, and a deep appreciation for language and literature.
- Provide guidance and support to students as they prepare for university applications and future career paths.
- Play an active role in the college’s enrichment programme, leading workshops, organizing literary events, and supporting students in their academic pursuits.
Candidate Profile:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have a genuine passion for English education.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of English language, literature, and pedagogy, with experience teaching at A-Level.
- Be an engaging and enthusiastic teacher with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
