MissionAs a Business & Financial Controller for Proton therapy, you will act as the key financial point of contact for US Proton Therapy Customer Service (PT CS) sites. You will create transparency on financials, be responsible for the quality and follow up of CS results and act as a sparring partner to steer operational decision-making. You are driven and ready to step up for taking over greater responsibilities in the mid-term within the PT CS Finance team.Challenges we trust you with

  • Strategic planning & forecasting: Drive the strategic planning activities in collaboration with the Customer Service leadership and site management. Support forecasting cycles with the business.
  • Monthly closing & reporting: Review, control and validate Monthly Closing. Report to the Management with variance analyses and recommendations.
  • Business partnership: Prepare ad hoc analyses to support leaders to make decisions. Identify levers to optimize profitability, and continuously challenge business teams.
  • Cash management: Ensure the cash in forecast is accurate and up to date, follow-up on forecast with Treasury and monthly overdue report issuance, support business for customer invoicing
  • Risk management: Ensure risks are followed and analyzed (FX, documentary credit, bank guarantees, penalties, projects delays…) for projects and prospects (IFRS15 Compliance, non-standard payments terms, risks coverage).
  • Continuous improvement: In coordination with Finance teams, put in place audit recommendations to guarantee compliance with financial standards and corporate governance.

What we valueYou have :

  • Master’s degree or an equivalent financial background
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience (controlling, audit, …)
  • Outstanding analytical skills with a critical mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both in English and in French
  • A strong understanding of the setup of an ERP package

  • Rigorous and consistent in all daily document control activities
  • Flexible and able to set priorities and to organize your work autonomously

Cherry on the cake

  • Knowledge of SAP, PowerBI and digital savviness
  • Relevant experience in a projects/industrial environment
  • Mastering of the application of IFRS norms
