Join us in Finance Operations as a Cost Estimation Functional Product Owner in our Standard Cost & Yield (STCY) Functional Product Owner team. Together, we’ll build a future where Maersk delivers exceptional insights to optimize decision-making across our commercial and operational functions.About the RoleAs a Cost Estimation Functional Product Owner, you’ll work cross-functionally within our high-performing team to drive the implementation and evolution of the One Maersk Cost Estimation Repository. Your mission? To provide the organization with a single source of truth on estimated costs that drive critical decisions on pricing, network choices, and performance management. You’ll also gain a comprehensive understanding of our end-to-end processes—from procurement to pricing—building a strong foundation for future career growth.Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will:Build and Refine Processes: Develop and enhance STCY business logic and processes, ensuring alignment with key stakeholders on pricing and operational decisions.Data-Driven Improvement: Identify and integrate relevant data sources from financial systems and procurement repositories, meticulously documenting the solution’s evolution.Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Product Owners, pricing managers, and cross-functional finance teams to develop Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), align on use cases, and ensure data accuracy for optimal decision-making.Continuous Improvement: Define and report on STCY accuracy, driving refinements based on business needs and reporting findings to enhance overall process performance.AccountabilitiesAs part of the STCY team, you’ll be accountable for:Solution Enablement: Supporting STCY processes through training, business logic improvements, user acceptance testing (UAT), and consistent communication.Subject Matter Expertise: Acting as the SME for STCY, with in-depth knowledge of business logic, capabilities, processes, definitions, and use cases.Future Adaptation: Working on the ongoing evolution of the STCY solution to meet evolving business requirements.What We’re Looking ForDriven and Proactive: You are a self-starter with a customer-centric mindset, and you actively look for ways to add value.Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills and a knack for translating complex information into clear, actionable insights.Financial Savvy: A solid understanding of financial principles and cost estimation.Collaborative Spirit: You thrive on teamwork, bringing positivity and resilience to a fast-paced environment, and you enjoy engaging with multiple stakeholders.Growth-Oriented: Eager to learn, grow, and develop your skills across Maersk’s product portfolio and end-to-end processes.Are you ready to make an impact at Maersk?
