GEA provides sustainable solutions for sophisticated production processes in diverse end-user markets and offers a comprehensive service portfolio.The Business Unit Bakery provides worldwide engineering and complete processing lines for a wide variety of applications within the bakery industry, such as cakes, cookies & biscuits, pies & tarts, frozen layer cakes, pizzas, breads, pastries, and crackers.For our office in Alcobendas (Madrid) we are currently looking for a Field Service Engineer for Bakery Equipment.The person who assumes this position must perform the following tasks:Field Service activities in Spain & Portugal on machine installation and commissioning, breakdowns, preventive maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting & service auditsPreparation and planning customer site visitsInstalled base recordingOperator training at customer site and webinars Support on production line adjustments, settings, machine/line performanceTechnical assessment on spare parts, retrofit and machine servicingYou will work in close collaboration with sales team for market awareness purposes.You will work integrated in FSE teamYour Profile / QualificationsEngineering degree or FP2 with equivalent experience in Electronics, Electrical and Automation.Mechanical background is beneficial (p.e. industrial burner setting or equipment fine tunning).Familiarized to work and empathize with customersHigh capability to understand customer needs/requests.Organized with analytical and hands-on mind set able to eliminate obstacles through creative and adaptive thinking.Experience 3-5 years in installation and commissioning in food industry (preferably in the Bakery area)Ability to work autonomouslyHighly motivated and strong sense of ownershipGood communication able to communicate / deal professionally with both internal and external customersFlexibility in terms of travel and working schedule (traveling from Monday to Friday frequently)Fluent knowledge in Spanish and English (both spoken and written) – Italian is beneficialWe offer:A flexible remuneration packageWork-life balance hybrid working model as a combination of home-office and working in the office23 vacation days per yearGreat work environment as part of a collaborative teamInternal training and career development opportunities at national and international levelGEA values equal opportunities.
