Offer DescriptionAssistant professor in the group of research and teaching staff, ready for active scientific and research work as well as teaching (including lectures, auditory and laboratory exercises) in accordance with the profile of the Department. The candidate will be offered support in scientific development, the possibility of participation in scientific projects, possibility of international cooperation. - have a doctoral degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or a related discipline;
- are highly motivated for scientific research work;
- have an experience in teaching at a university in the field of data processing and analysis;
- possess a practical programming skills in Python language, using numpy, pandas, scikit-learn libraries;
- are fluent in spoken and written Polish (applies to foreigners);
- have a good command of spoken and written English;
- published scientific works of international scope, including the field of geoinformatics data processing.
Specific RequirementsWhen evaluating candidates, the following elements will also be taken into accountThe following qualities will be highly appreciated:
- ability to work in a team, and to analyse literature sources critically
- knowledge of the mathematical apparatus used in various applications of computer science
