UDC4HEProject Title: Preparation and management of European projects and facilitating the attraction of international talent in R&D institutions, 2024 call (GPE2024) Contract purpose: Hiring a technician to carry out the project activitiesTasks to be performed:Collaborate in the execution of tasks and activities related to the mentioned project, which will involve:
- Development of activities within the UDC4HE project
- Comprehensive administrative and financial management of international R&D&I projects managed by UDC
- Monitor and control the budget of projects, ensuring that expenses comply with the eligibility criteria outlined in the Annotated Grant Agreement
- Support in preparing audits of European projects when mandatory
- Provide assistance in advising and preparing projects for securing and managing international R&D&I funding

Must hold Spanish nationality or any other nationality that state regulations recognize as having equal rights concerning labor effects in public administration. Possess the necessary functional capacity to perform the duties described in the call that comprise the contract’s objectives. Candidates must not have been dismissed from any public administration or from the constitutional or statutory bodies of autonomous communities due to disciplinary measures. Additionally, they should not be in a state of absolute or special disqualification for public employment or positions as a result of a judicial ruling, nor should they be barred from civil service roles or from carrying out functions similar to those from which they were dismissed or disqualified. For candidates from other countries, it is essential that they are not disqualified or in a comparable situation, and that they have not faced any disciplinary action that would similarly restrict their access to public employment.Additional InformationEligibility criteriaEvaluation criteria:The specific requirements are outlined in the attached table. Special consideration will be given to candidates with degrees in fields such as Economics, Finance, Actuarial and Financial Sciences, Business Administration, or Business Sciences. These areas of study provide a solid foundation in economic analysis, financial management, and accounting, which are essential skills for managing the financial aspects of projects.Additionally, training in STEM disciplines (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) will be valued. The office seeks to strengthen its team with professionals possessing this profile, as the majority of active international projects are currently in fields related to STEM qualifications. The classification for assigning qualifications will follow the RUCT guidelines ( ).For the language section, only the highest-level qualification presented will be considered.Candidates with a total score of 46 points or more across merits 1 to 4 will be interviewed. Only the top 6 candidates will be selected for an interview. During the interview, both the candidate’s abilities, skills, and profile will be assessed, as well as their knowledge of the specific tasks to be performed. Part of the interview may be conducted in English.To be considered for the position or to be placed on the waiting list, candidates must score at least 15 points in academic qualifications, 25 points in professional experience, training, and language skills, and 10 points in the interview.
