Your role as Quality Assurance EngineerAs a Quality Assurance Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring compliance of products and their technical documentation within our Quality Management System (QMS). This role involves supporting the Research & Development (R&D) and Operations departments in investigating non-conformities, developing new products and line extensions, and improving production processes.Your responsibilitiesIn this position you will have a wide diversity of activities and responsibilities. One of your main tasks as a Quality Assurance Engineer is to perform root cause analyses in case of complaints or non-conformities. You will use statistical methods to identify and effectively address the underlying problems. Other duties include:

• Direct involvement in developing/writing and reviewing requirements, specifications and technical design documents including verification and validation processes to provide timely and meaningful feedback;
• Assisting the R&D team with production development and improvement projects to ensure the projects are properly planned, executed and documented;
• Collaborating with the Quality Assurance team in Indonesia;
• Collecting data and report trend analysis from raw material, inline and finished product inspections;
• Supporting internal and external quality audits;
• Act as a quality inspector back up; you are involved in occasionally executing quality inspection test according established methods;
• Improve our existing quality inspection methods;
• Approval and release of quality documents and records.

Who you areYou are a professional with a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a scientific discipline and have several years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in the medical device industry. In addition, you also bring the following skills and abilities:

• Good communication skills;
• Eye for detail, and can assess well what is essential;
• Knowledge of ERP systems and common MS Office applications;
• You can work independently and are able to manage complex situations, handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize work;
• Good knowledge of the English language both verbally and in writing.
