- Netherlands: Provide onsite IT support for the Netherlands locations
- EMEA: remote support
- EMEA: hardware delivery: shipping of IT hardware to sites and users
- Standby/after hours on call for emergencies
What you’ll be doing…
- Onsite support for Netherlands sites, this includes regular visits to our locations in Rotterdam and Klundert
- EMEA hardware delivery, including maintaining our central Dordrecht stockroom and disposal room, organizing hardware shipments to VGO employees in EMEA and hardware returns/disposals
- EMEA remote support. Tier 3 remote support for more complex pc and infrastructure issues for EMEA users
- On call/ after hours for emergencies & systems upgrades. The onsite tech is the listed primary contact for the Netherlands sites in case of infrastructure issues, this might require working in a site after hours.
- Computerroom and network support. This includes the network/computerrooms in the Netherlands locations, maintaining network cabling (patching), regular health checks of equipment etc.
- Plant/warehouse/Lab support; supporting some of the equipment used in our plants and warehouses such as: wireless barcode scanners, dedicated desktop pc’s, industrial label printers etc.
What you’ll bring…
- MTS or HTS computer technology
- 3+ years of experience, preferably in an international organization
- ITIL foundation preferred, Microsoft windows certification is a pre
- Drivers license
- Excellent dutch and english language skills both oral and writing
- PC and windows (10&11) skills
- Understanding networks (tcp/ip, wiring and patching)
