Main Purpose: We are recruiting a senior Full-Stack Software Developer to work directly with the traders and research analysts in our European Intraday Power trading teams. Our focus on excellence and innovation drives us to seek talented individuals who are passionate about software engineering and eager to make a meaningful impact in the industry.As a senior Full-Stack Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development and evolution of internal software products, from the lowest abstraction levels of data acquisition and storage to the highest levels of the user interfaces.
Leveraging your expertise, you will get the chance to develop new interesting software products, in addition to contributing to larger existing software solutions. You will be part of several collaborative efforts, in working closely together with our other talented software developers, but also in cross-functional teams, including traders, quantitative analysts and other domain experts to take your technical and domain skills to the next level, while delivering great products.Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities:At least three years of experience developing software within short term power.A degree in computer science, software engineering, mathematics, or equivalent practical experience. Alternatively, completion of training as an IT specialist for application development or a related field.Proficiency in working with C#, Python and/or TypeScript is required.Familiarity with databases and management systems such as PostgreSQL, Cassandra, or similar.Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.Key Responsibilities

  • Develop individual and collaborative software products.
  • Contribute to the further development of software data architecture, with a preference for microservices and REST.
  • Ensure smooth deployment and maintenance of internal applications, including error analysis, debugging, and ongoing support.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including trading, quantitative analysis, and IT, to optimize data products.
