As a Flow Machining Manufacturing Engineer, you’ll ensure timely product delivery, coordinate material flow, supported production plan using your extensive manufacturing knowledge.As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting the shop routing, instruction sheets, equipment improvement, and shop fixture design in machining area
- Utilizing Lean Six Sigma & continuous improvement approach to evaluate manufacturing processes and drive strategic projects for process improvement.
- Acting as a liaison with Quality, Planner, and Suppliers for first piece and special process qualification.
- Providing technical support, resolve NCRs and SDRs, and assist engineering, sourcing, and MPE Department in manufacturing process-related matters.
- Determining manufacturing component costs and assist Sales department.
- Optimizing tooling, create workpiece placement drawings, and establish appropriate cut parameters for chip removal on machine tools
- Collaborating with Baker Hughes site engineers to leverage process technology, share best practices, and promote new technologies in manufacturing.
- Focus on NPI and special project
Fuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:
- Have a master degree in mechanical Engineer or equivalent.
- Have a good experience in Manufacturing Machining Area.
- Have excellent knowledge of technical drawing and Machining technology (Machine tools, cutting tools and parameters)
- Have experience with CAD/CAM Application and 3D Application as Unigraphics
- Demonstrate excellent computer skills and be familiar with MS Office
- Show Six Sigma or Continuous Improvement tools experience and ERP experence is favored
- Be a good team player and display good communication skills with fluency both in English and Italian
