This means using cutting edge technology to create highly scalable, customisable and secure products and components that free up development time and leverage our access to global data.What you’ll do & Who you areWe are looking for a Data Engineer to contribute to the development of data solutions, with a focus on performance optimization and feature implementation. The role involves working both independently and within a team to design, build, and maintain high-quality systems, while also taking part in technical discussions and on-call rotations.
The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in data engineering, with experience using cloud platforms and big data frameworks. They should possess strong programming skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage tasks autonomously. A passion for learning and collaboration is essential for success in this role.What you’ll do
- Analyzes and implements a complex feature autonomously
- Builds software solutions by adhering to our quality standards
- Participates in the technical design of features with guidance
- Understands and optimizes system performances
- Prioritizes tasks with autonomy based on requirements and proper context
- Partecipate to a 24/7 on-call turns
Who are you
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science
- Previous experience as a Data Engineer (+2 years)
- In-depth knowledge of AWS, Spark, Flink, and similar frameworks
- Good Knowledge of programming languages including Java, Scala, Python
- Familiarity at least on a cloud provider, and Docker tools
- Good tasks management and communication skills
- Team player
- Eager to learn
