In this job at our HQ in Antwerp, you play a crucial role in the logistics process. As a Logistics Administrator (also called Trade Coordinator), you coordinate all aspects of a trade transaction in a fast, accurate and customer friendly way. Once the commercial agreements are made, you take over and ensure everything runs smoothly.Your responsibilities

• You autonomously coordinate orders from our clients and international affiliates after thorough training and with the support of your team.
• You monitor the entire trade and logistics process and communicate daily with customers, suppliers, shipping companies, banks, and other international stakeholders.
• You aim for a smooth delivery to customers and proactively resolve any unexpected challenges.
• You work closely together with Traders and colleagues from other departments such as Finance, Credit Insurance, Legal, etc.
• You ensure the timely and accurate processing of all documents, from contracts and Letters of Credit to invoices, packing lists and Bills of Lading.
• You will contribute to projects aimed at improving efficiency and optimizing the workflows within the Trade Coordination team. This includes identifying bottlenecks and proposing solutions to streamline operations.
• You act as a mentor to junior colleagues, supporting them with your expertise.
• You will focus primarily on the African market.

Your profile

• You have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role within the logistics sector.
• You possess extensive knowledge of logistics processes, Incoterms, Letters of Credit, and transport documents.
• You are fluent in English. Knowledge of French or Dutch or any other language is a plus.
• You work independently and take ownership of the entire logistics process from start to finish.
• You are service-oriented, have attention to detail and you have strong organizational skills.
• You are pro-active and you know how to set priorities.
• You have the ambition to become a trainer / expert.
• You are living in the region of our headquarters in Antwerp.
