And now there is a perfect opportunity for you to join us as our new Principal Insights SpecialistWe are looking for a senior insights profile to reinforce our ambitious team in developing first class insights to inspire, qualify and drive truly customer centric product and solution innovation.You will join a team whose role is to be a trusted business partner that inspires and enables colleagues to develop products, services, and communications with customers at the centre. We coach, question, research, and advice in matters ranging from product features to strategic questions.At Nilfisk, customer centric innovation is more than just a token headline in a strategy document. It is something we practice rigorously – led by our insights team as key instigators and enablers.Your new jobWe believe, we have got an exciting and diverse job lined up for you, but we will let you be the judge.Your role will be to facilitate customer centric decision making, spanning wide from hands-on research – planning, executing, analyzing, reporting studies – to providing strategic advisory to senior stakeholders.You will get to work full circle with insights-led product innovation, facilitating customer centricity end to end. You will explore and uncover needs and be a driving force in inspiring and qualifying ideation, concepts and final product designs and features rooted in deep insights about what matters most to customers.Your scope of work will range from in-depth ethnographic user research uncovering the small details that makes the big difference to trend studies identifying future innovation opportunity spaces.You will get to travel to do deep dive research among a wide array of B2B customers in almost every imaginable business sector, primarily in our European and North American markets.You will get to deep dive and connect the dots across the full spectrum of customer needs, pain points and value drivers ranging from the day-to-day product users to top level decision makers.You will act as a trusted business partner enabling customer empathetic decisions rooted in deep insights about what drives value for our customers and represent potentials for our business in close collaboration with your stakeholders within Design, Product management, Marketing, Sales, Sustainability and many more.Across projects you will harvest the most brightly shining insights gold nuggets to build themed frameworks and to expand and enhance our ever-evolving foundation of business-relevant customer insight to draw on for decision-making.As a team we are consistently curious and open to pushing the boundaries – challenging, refining and exploring new our ways of working and to optimize our ability to meet the needs of our stakeholders and drive customer centricity. You will thus get to develop methods and approaches to gathering and implementing impactful insights inspiring new ways of working and thinking, both in the team and in our collaborations with our stakeholders.Your new teamYou will be located in our new head office in Nordhavn Copenhagen. You will report to the Head of Brand & Design Insights, Martin Troelsgaard, and join two experienced senior insights colleagues in the team with a burning passion for user research and driving customer centricity.We are a small team, but we punch above our weight class as key influencers and action facilitators for business-critical decisions. On a personal level, we look for a team player that is curios and empathetic towards customers and stakeholders. We also imagine that you are a motivated self-starter and instigator with the mindset of a trusted advisor and strategic business partner towards your stakeholders.Your expertise and experience outweigh your education; however, we imagine that your educational background could be within Anthropology, UX design/research, Sociology or Psychology.Why join us?

We will look at your application after the deadline and contact you for a phone interview if relevant. Hereafter, if there is a mutual match, we will invite you to an interview with the hiring manager. The 2nd interview will be with an HR representative together with the manager, where the focus is on a feedback session on a personality assessment and a case.
