As a key member of our team, you will become part of an enthusiastic and diverse international group, comprising motivated professionals with extensive clinical, research, and pharmaceutical expertise in both global and regional/local settings. Working together, these pursuits drive and inspire our team, ultimately to improve lives for people with chronic conditionsLeveraging your vast expertise, you will play a crucial position, operating independently to lead strategic discussions and decision-making processes for key projects related to semaglutide in obesity, cardiovascular disease and other related complications.Your responsibilities will include:
- Shape the strategy by providing patient and medical perspectives (insights for strategy
- Leading strategic projects within the product specific committees.
- Collaborating closely with key stakeholders from various cross-functional teams.
- Working cross-functionally to generate, interpret, and effectively communicate scientific data emerging on all phases of clinical trials of business development assets
- Successfully collaborate and communicate with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and internal stakeholders, including regional teams, affiliates, marketing, patient access, development, and regulatory affairs.
The position is based in Copenhagen, Denmark. Worldwide travel is a requirement in alignment with our Circular for Zero policy.QualificationsWe are looking for experienced medical professional who, personally, fosters genuine teamwork, and nurturing positive relationships within a diverse and dynamic international environment as of utmost importance. Our team comprises diverse individuals with excellent interpersonal skills along with friendly demeanour, and it’s important for us to add personnel who will seamlessly integrate.A successful candidate is expected to have:
- Medical background (MD/PhD) is desired
- Minimum 5 years of clinical and/or pharmaceutical industry experience within Medical Affairs.
- Professional focus in obesity and/or cardiometabolic disease is considered a plus.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, as well as the ability to lead and drive cross-functional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strategic and critical thinking that allow you to anticipate opportunities and take initiative to address them effectively.
- Fluency in spoken and written English is essential.
About the Department
The Semaglutide Obesity team is part of the Obesity VP area in Global Medical Affairs, located in Søborg, near Copenhagen in Denmark. Our department is focused on building and executing medical strategies for semaglutide in obesity, CVD and related complications and advance the field of obesity care through scientific exchange and dialogue with the external medical community.Working at Novo Nordisk
