Offer DescriptionWe invite applications for a full-time position in the Department of Research onthe History of Poland after 1945. The appointment will be at the rank of Assistant Professor (Adjunct). The candidate must hold a doctoral degree in the humanities and have an age- and career-appropriate published body of work in twentieth-century history (with particular emphasis on the history of Poland against the background of Central and Eastern Europe from 1945 to 1989 and after 1989). The candidate will also be required to have a research project leading to a postdoctoral degree, as well as experience in national and international cooperation in the field of their research. Experience of research grant leadership is also welcome.Successful candidate will be also expected to cooperate with other members of the Department, participate in the research carried out in the Department and be involved in organising international collaboration.In addition, IH PAN offers:
