Job DescriptionIn this role, you will not only lead a team of highly skilled technicians, but also impact and drive the transition of our R&D Processing Workshop.In Global Processing, we help the brick come alive, by making equipment which can decorate a happy smile on a face or assemble the entire figure.We do not offer relocation for this position.Core ResponsibilitiesResponsible for assembly, testing and run-in of internal manufactured production equipment e.g. complete machines, Electrical cabinets and feeding equipment.Prototype building and testing of technologies, equipment’s and concepts supporting front-end and technology platform development in R&D ProcessingSourcing of manufactured and technical components to be used for Processing equipment- development and assembly.People manager of dedicated Specialist Technicians, Technical buyers and apprentices with focus on their motivation, well-being, and competency development.Responsible for daily planning, communication and partner management for keeping an efficient and well-repudiated R&D Workshop.Setting the direction and leading the change in a newly reorganized organization working closely together with Platform Development Team, Planning and our Novelty development area (new processing products e.g. decorations- and assembly elements).Play your part in our team succeedingThe role as Sr. Manager for R&D Processing Workshop is to lead an R&D Workshop that build prototypes, develop and build the equipment “of tomorrow” that improve performance and support the general capacity expansion within the LEGO Group.Furthermore, the role is supporting our ability to continuously offer high service, knowledge and support towards Production and R&D Processing development functions on Novelties and Platforms.As manager of this area it is expected to lead improvements towards existing ways of working in order to improve collaboration between the broad level of partners.Do you have what it takes?The ideal candidate have a Technical background such as Machine- or electrical technician/engineer. You have a couple of years experience from a technical production, PTA function or a machine builder and you are a competent team lead who can engage and motivate a team to follow you in an informal and coached approach. In addition, we expect that you:Understand the mind-set of an R&D developer and are truly customer focused and business oriented – supporting new business opportunities.Are confident in leading a change upstream and internally to secure right ingoing quality and planning both on construction quality and component and project planning.Are curious on the digitalization and automation agenda and have some experience in how to incorporate and implement that into more digital solutionsHave experience with LCI and have an attitude in how to optimize and improve processesHave knowledge and understanding of requirements within machine safety and CE marking approvalSpeak and understand DanishFinally, we see it as an advantage if you are familiar with IT office programs, user of SAP and NX / Teamcenter (or similar CAD programs), as well as you are experienced working in a global organization.Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
