The candidate must have:

  • Good understanding of Linux internals (processes/threads, service management)
  • Fair knowledge on both Windows and Linux systems
  • Good programming and debugging skills with at least 1 programming language
  • Proficiency in English that enables effective communication in an international environment especially about security threats nature, explaining consequences of threats and explaining mitigations steps
  • Ability to debug and find solutions under pressure
  • Ability to guide the team into direction to address security issue
  • Ability to help on-call (around one bigger incident per month)
  • Ability to cover processes and services in EST time zone
  • Technical knowledge of OWASP top 10
  • Understanding of frameworks such as CVSS

The recruitment process for the Security Analyst position has following steps:

  • Technical survey ~ 10min
  • Technical screening – 30 min
  • Technical interview – 1h-2h (depending on your experience and how fast we can go through some things)
  • Interview with manager – ~30 min
