Keep reading!What the key tasks will look likeAt DKV and ERGO Belgium, we are dedicated to protecting our customers and safeguarding their sensitive information. To support this mission, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Expert to join our Information Security Office. In this role, you will ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data and systems together with your ISO colleagues.More concrete you will:

• Help to shape and implement a unified information security strategy for DKV and ERGO Belgium.
• Collaborate with your Information Security Office colleagues, as well as with risk management and IT departments, to identify, assess, and mitigate information security risks.
• Develop and maintain information security policies, guidelines, and procedures.
• Support incident management procedures and prevention activities (including independent review and lessons learned)
• Provide expert guidance and support to IT and business teams on information security matters.
• Help to ensure compliance with relevant regulations, such as GDPR and DORA.
• Collaborate with the ERGO Group Information Security Community.
• Contribute to the reporting on information security status to senior management of DKV and ERGO Belgium, as well as to the ERGO Group.

Required skills and competencies

• You obtained a Bachelors or Masters degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• You are certified ISO/IEC 27001 or equivalent and you have a strong knowledge of information security frameworks, standards (e.g., ISO 2700x, NIST CSF 2.0), and regulations with a proven track record in risk assessment, incident response, and compliance management.
• You ideally have worked in an international group, translating group guidelines to concrete actions on local level while providing regular updates and reports towards group and local management.
• With your strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills, you manage to influence teams and obtain change with key stakeholders.
• You are fluent in English and feel comfortable attending meetings, giving presentations and drafting reports in English. For collaboration locally, knowledge of French and/or Dutch is a strong asset.
