Job Description Summary The role of Medical Affairs Lead Specialty would be to lead the country Medical Team in areas of Cardiology, Immunology and Neurology, develop the respective franchises’ Medical Strategy and execute it through an operational Medical Plan.Job DescriptionYour key responsibilities:Lead the respective Specialty Medical team and represent Medical Franchise in the country Medical leadership team to develop the Franchise strategy aligned with business priorities and execute it through an operational Franchise Medical Plan -Lead the cross-functional Franchise Medical Team to ensure optimal collaboration within the country and Global Teams.Strategically influence and collaborate with senior leaders of different functions and other external relevant partners to support the Medical Product plans, clinical development, scientific communications and medical expert engagement plans -Provide coaching and talent development opportunities to direct reports and managing performance reviewsDrive and role model the culture and values and behaviors of the company across their teams -Maintain and drive the standards of medical and scientific excellence in the country Franchise through recruitment, training development and technical development of associates.Accountable for the yearly medical tactical planning process within the assigned Medical Franchise, with budget planning and execution responsibility.Accountable for the performance management, talent development and collaborative working culture implementation.Essential Requirements :

  • Education: MD or PhD/PharmD in Health Sciences; Desired: Specialist Degree or specialist qualification related to Cardiology, Immunology or Neurology; Business degree (e.g. MBA)
  • Languages: English – fluent spoken & written; Polish: fluent spoken & written highly preferable
  • Min. 7 years of pharmaceutical industry experience
  • Proven track record in People Management
  • Strong medical and scientific bases and agility to transverse the diseases’ arena
  • Good planning and organizational skills
  • Strong business acumen
  • Strong communication skills and customer orientation
  • Scientific, clinical or research background GCP
  • Preferred experience in innovative study designs e.g. RCT/RWE mixed designs
  • Preferred experience in implementation science
  • Preferred proven track record of co-creation and co-execution of protocols with stakeholders in healthcare systems
