Job Description:Grade UE02 £22,154 – £22,728 plus 5% premium band for flexible workingCorporate Services Group- Accommodation, Catering and EventsFull Time: 35 hours per weekOpen ended: permanent contractPost x2The Opportunity:An opportunity has arisen for a kitchen porter to join The University of Edinburgh Catering Department. The role will be based at our largest catering unit the John McIntyre Conference Centre located within Pollock halls.The John McIntyre Centre is a 650-seater buffet restaurant that provides approximately 28,000 meals each week during our student period and also provide breakfast, lunch and dinner to our commercial guest’s year roundYour skills and attributes for success:
