We are a team of collaborators and knowledge sharers working in an agile, fast-paced environment.The roleWe’re focused on improving services for our residents and making our council truly digital. To support this, we are seeking a user focused Digital Change Coordinator to drive technology adoption and enhance the user experience amongst a group of staff who have previously not had access to digital tools. This is due to their work being primarily based out in the field without using digital as a primary resource. However, through our research we know digital can still play an important part in making staff feel connected and included. We refer to this access as ‘universal access’.Working closely with the IT Support Engineer – Digital Inclusion you will develop and deliver in person training and guidance for managers and end-users, covering onboarding, mobile phone induction, and non-standard IT processes. Encouraging this user group to see the benefits of using our digital systems and supporting digital transformation in our frontline field-based services.About YouWe are seeking a user focused Digital Change Coordinator to drive technology adoption and enhance the user experience amongst the universal access and non-standard user groups.As a confident communicator you will build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across DDS and the wider organisation, able to work effectively in face-to-face situations and prepared to travel around the borough to engage with colleagues in their own work environments.You will have a good understanding of core M365 applications and how to access them on non-standard devices.You will be a key player in ensuring our non-standard staff are able to understand and use the digital tools available to help them, so will be confident in engaging in face-to-face workshops, guidance and support sessions helping colleagues to understand and embrace digital tools.
