Job Title: Psychology Teacher – Sittingbourne
Pay Rates: £163 – £230 (dependent on experience)
Full-Time, Long-Term Contract – November 2024 – July 2025 – with the possibility of going permanentSupply Desk are currently seeking a passionate and qualified Psychology Teacher for a highly regarded secondary school in Sittingbourne. Known for its dedication to academic excellence and student wellbeing, this school are looking for a skilled Psychology educator to teach across Key Stages 4 and 5. The role may include opportunities to take on additional responsibilities within the department for the ideal candidate.Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons in Psychology across KS4 and KS5.
- Tailor lesson plans to accommodate diverse student learning needs and abilities.
- Implement effective classroom management strategies to maintain a positive learning environment.
- Use Assessment for Learning (AfL) techniques to monitor and encourage student progress.
- Take part in department meetings and contribute to the continuous development of the psychology curriculum.
- Support the school’s commitment to high achievement and well-being, embodying a genuine passion for psychology education.
Ideal Candidate Will:
- Be a qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS) with recent experience teaching Psychology at KS4 and KS5.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of psychology content and pedagogy for secondary students.
- Be enthusiastic about fostering critical thinking and analytical skills in students.
- Possess a commitment to professional development and openness to taking on additional department responsibilities.
- Be either an ECT or an experienced teacher with a desire to make a positive impact in a new school environment.

Requirements:
