Our Instrument Control Engineering team uses cutting-edge technology to design gas and steam turbines, compressors and expanders.Partner with the bestYou will be responsible for design activities on our compressor and turboexpander products. Collaborating with multiple engineers and suppliers you will ensure quality control and on-time delivery. Enjoying opportunities to convert new technology ideas into products you’ll introduce innovations to an already pioneering business.As a Compressor Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing design activities
  • Providing technical guidance and sharing project related status updates
  • Providing engineering support to internal teams to assist with activities that span the full, technical project life-cycle
  • Owning the delivery of technical documentation and drawings to ensure consistency with engineering policies and contractual specifications
  • Overseeing relationships with global and local vendors to manage time-zones and successful on-time delivery of required components

Fuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Master’s Degree in Engineering
  • Have knowledge about either Mechanical, Thermodynamic or Fluid Dynamic.
  • Have previous work experience or knowledge about turbomachinery industry or related areas, and/or Ph.D equivalent on relevant subjects.
  • Demonstrate experience of using CAD software such as Unigraphics or similar
  • Have familiarity of finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD)
  • Be a problem solver, with an analytical approach to identifying root causes and implementing solutions
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Be fluent in English and be able to work in the EU
