Talent-IT onderscheidt zich van andere bureaus door een volledig persoonlijke, medewerker gerichte benadering: ons werk draait om jou!The Security Operations Analyst is responsible for cyber incident response and the operations, monitoring, and administration of various cybersecurity solutions and processes to protect company information in accordance with the Information Security Program and related policies.Tasks

  • Develop information security procedures, standards, and guidelines
  • Oversee, manage, or improve the operation of:
  • Security Awareness
  • Vulnerability Management
  • Supervise or manage protective or corrective measures when a vulnerability is discovered
  • Incorporate cybersecurity vulnerability solutions into system designs
  • Work with stakeholders to resolve computer security incidents and ensure vulnerability compliance
  • Correct security vulnerabilities in assigned systems in response to problems identified in vulnerability reports
  • Establish vulnerability reporting criteria
  • Secure Testing of Code
  • Handle CI/CD pipeline alerts related to security testing
  • Endpoint Security
  • Privileged Access Management
  • Governance, Risk, and Compliance
  • Cryptography, Keys, and Certificates
  • Configuration Management (Hardening)
  • Monitor the organization’s cybersecurity status, handle/respond to all types of security alerts and/or incidents, both technical and non-technical, and define the remediation plan or remediation activities
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships within IT and with other departments involved with information security (Operations, Development, Legal, Human Resources, and others)
  • Perform other duties to support the technical and operational security of the organization as required

Competences

  • Knowledge of Incident Handling Standards, Methodologies, and Frameworks
  • Knowledge of SOC and SIEM tools
  • Knowledge of Computer Systems Vulnerabilities & Vulnerability Management Solutions
  • Knowledge of ISO27001/NIST Cybersecurity Framework
  • Fair understanding of Infrastructure and Software Generic Components (network technology, Operating systems, DBMS, development languages, etc.)
  • Fair knowledge of Service Management tools
  • Strong analysis skills, eager and driven to deliver quality
  • Self-starter mindset
  • Excellent communicator, able to interact with different levels in the organization
  • Proficient in English (verbal & written), able to speak French or Dutch

Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in exact sciences or equivalent knowledge gained through relevant work experience
