This role is an opportunity to grow your expertise in category management, stakeholder collaboration and global procurement strategies.

What you will do:

  • Collaborate closely with the Global Indirect Procurement team to align strategies and initiatives across regions, with focus on the GSA market.

  • Lead and manage savings initiatives in GSA and Europe as well EEMEA, focusing on spend over €100,000.

  • Develop sourcing strategies in partnership with global procurement and local stakeholders (plant director, finance director, engineers), adapting to regional needs.

  • Own strategic sourcing processes and support categories for Professional Services / Consultancies, Marketing, Events, and Stationery.

  • Negotiate contracts alongside the Legal team, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with policies.

  • Drive compliance and best practices in procurement processes across regions, fostering strong policy adherence.

  • Strengthen supplier relationships through regular evaluations, crisis management, and performance reviews.

  • Reduce supplier numbers, optimize contracted suppliers, and streamline spend toward preferred rate cards.

What you will need:

Required:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent.

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in direct or indirect procurement, ideally indirect procurement.

  • Proven track record in category management, savings delivery, and strategic sourcing.

  • Strong analytical skills, including financial analysis, spend analysis, and market intelligence.

  • Experience in stakeholder relationship management and navigating complex, multinational environments.

  • Fluency in English and German is mandatory.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with European and multinational company environments.

  • Ability to adapt easily across procurement categories.
