Position Overview:We are looking for a High Frequency Design Engineer specializing in signal integrity to join our team in Grenoble. This role focuses on providing technical solutions for high-speed interconnections (passive links) in ICT products, with an emphasis on designs exceeding 112 Gbps.Key Responsibilities

  • Develop high-speed PCB designs and off-board interconnections (such as cables), including simulation, signal integrity analysis, and lab verification.
  • Collaborate with teams in China for co-development projects, including conducting technical reviews, providing regular updates, and establishing project charters.
  • Create technology roadmaps and project plans for high-speed interconnection systems, offering technical insights into high-speed solutions.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • A Master’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Communication Engineering, Electromagnetic Science, or a related field; a PhD is preferred.
  • Over 8 years of experience with in-depth knowledge and substantial experience in the hardware architecture design of telecommunications and communication products.
  • Proven experience in developing high-speed products/prototypes at 56 Gbps and beyond, with a successful history of delivering products over 56 Gbps.
  • Strong understanding of high-speed SerDes architecture, including Rx/Tx SerDes PHY, equalization techniques, CDR, and related challenges at the DSP level.
  • Familiarity with key high-speed serial hardware, including SerDes, high-speed ASICs, packages, DSPs, PCBs, and connectors.
  • Proficient in conducting high-speed serial link lab experiments and prototyping, with skills in using real-time oscilloscopes and VNAs to correlate experimental results with simulations.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards, including IEEE 802.3, OIF-CEI standards, CEI-224G, and InfiniBand.
  • A solid academic background and a willingness to participate in conferences and industry events.
  • A technology enthusiast with curiosity, drive, and motivation to make significant contributions in the field.
  • Experience in high-speed and high-frequency design and simulation using 2D and 3D simulation tools (e.g., ADS, CST, ANSYS HFSS, Sigrity).
  • Proficiency in high-speed SerDes modeling and simulation, with experience in Python (preferred), Matlab, Verilog-A, or ADS.
