37 hours per weekWe have an exciting opportunity for a Project Officer for the Leverhulme funded Amplification Project, exploring research into the contribution of amplification and related technologies to musical cultures.As Leverhulme Professorship Project Officer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Amplification Project administratively. Working with the Leverhulme International Professor and 6 Research Fellows, you will have responsibility for providing dedicated support to the project. This includes working with the staff involved to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the project. You will manage project finances, arrange travel, flights, expenses and accommodation, help with project management and arrangements, as well as organise events. You will also be involved in updates to the project’s social media or web presence.Educated to degree level or with relevant experience gained through holding a similar role, you will have significant administrative experience and be able to demonstrate office skills, together with strong organisational and excellent interpersonal skills. You will have excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Teams and Excel, and you will also have experience of assisting with organising events and the ability to take minutes of meetings.We offer an excellent employment package including hybrid working, blending a mix of remote and on-campus working (dependent on work duties).The University is deeply committed to equality and diversity for all its students and staff.
