The position
As a Regional Medical Adviser at Novo Nordisk, you will contribute actively to building and maintaining scientific understanding of Novo Nordisk marketed products and to the development of portfolio products. You will share up-to-date medical knowledge and clinical trial data with internal and external stakeholders. Leverage scientific and clinical expertise to create relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) and other healthcare decisions makers. You will help to coordinate educational programmes and workshops to support the internal staff in understanding the scientific data for training purposes as needed.
Your responsibilities will be to:
-Provide field-based scientific support for marketed products and development projects in connection with clinical trials in Estonia
-Prepare and coordinate educational programmes for internal and external customers in Estonia and develop and maintain relationships with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) to improve the knowledge of Novo Nordisk products and their appropriate use
-Handle administrative duties related to the role and ensure local HCPs and relevant internal customers understand the scientific basis and clinical usefulness of our compounds through product and therapy area training, education, and information
-Network with local healthcare organisations to provide scientific information aligned with current and future business needs
-Provide medico-marketing support for product campaign development and implementation
Qualifications
To be successful you should have the next qualifications:
-University degree (M.D. or qualified to degree level, preferably in medicine, pharmacy or biological sciences) with pharma experience
-At least 2 years’ experience in health-related system, pharmaceutical company or clinical practice is an advantage
-Understanding of diabetes (advantage)
-Understanding of local pharmaceutical market (advantage)
-Previous business background (sales/marketing) (advantage)
-Digital skills and experience in communication in digital environment on advanced level
-Relationship with key external customers (advantage)
-Very good presentation and communication skills
-Good written communication skills (short medical and disease awareness articles, create materials to the company webpages, promo materials)
-Good in establishing, developing and maintenance of relationships
