Teaching Assistants Required – No Experience RequiredLocation: Cranborne, DorsetContract Type: Permanent, 40 hours per week, term-time onlyCompensation: £11.72 – £12.78 per hour

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in helping the students thrive in a safe and nurturing environment. Your responsibilities will include supporting teaching staff in delivering a comprehensive curriculum both on and off-site. Your role will be dynamic, involving one-on-one student support and small group assistance. Maintaining a positive approach to behavior management is also a key aspect of this role.Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate and support the learning and independence of students.
  • Participate in the planning, preparation, implementation, and evaluation of educational programs, plans, and reports.
  • Assess, record, and report on student progress.
  • Foster and promote student independence.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Adhere to safeguarding and health and safety protocols.
  • Encourage positive social behaviours and self-regulation skills.

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving license and access to a personal vehicle.
  • Minimum age of 21 to work on-site.
  • Level 2 qualification or equivalent in Maths and English.
  • Positive and creative in addressing the needs of young people.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong numeracy, literacy, and ICT skills.
