Offer DescriptionThe Department of Biomedical Engineering at the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Informatics is recruiting a full-time employee for the position of research and teaching assistant to conduct classes in the field of Biomedical Engineering in the first and second degree, in medicine electronics specialization, implement research projects in the scientific team of the department (e.g. grants), coordinate promotional and organizational activities, and conduct scientific research.

  • conducting scientific activities and striving for scientific development
  • teaching (in Polish and English) and upbringing of students
  • participation in the organization of the teaching process
  • publishing work results in scientific journals
  • active participation in scientific or teaching conferences
  • applying for research grants and scientific internships
  • participation in the implementation of research grants
  • reviewing scientific papers
  • developing laboratories
  • foundsraising
  • coordinating cooperation with the medical and industrial environment
  • preparing new subjects and teaching aids for students, including in the form of distance learning
  • co-organizing conferences, scientific and popular science events
  • conducting promotional activities, including supervising the MiLAB scientific club
  • coordinating internships for the electronics in medicine specialization

  • Master’s degree and in electronics or biomedical engineering or a related field with documented training in electronics courses (as part of master’s degree programs or other)
  • good knowledge of Polish to enable them to teach and very good knowledge of English
  • knowledge of biomedical engineering, electronics in medicine, databases, electromagnetic compatibility
  • authorship of at least three scientific publications not older than 3 years, at least one with a score of 100 according to the list of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education
  • ability to design and debug electronic systems
  • ability to operate laboratory and measurement equipment
  • knowledge of programming languages: Python, Matlab and C
  • knowledge of hardware description languages
  • knowledge of environments: Eagle CAD, Sketchup, STM32 IDE, Waveforms, LTspiceADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
  • ability to work in an interdisciplinary environment
  • to have a record of publications in scientific journals or conference proceedings
  • effective communication skills
  • self-driven and independent research skills
  • adaptability and problem-solving
  • basic knowledge in medicine and biomedical engineering
  • driving license category B
  • experience in project coordination
  • experience in social activities
