We are looking to strengthen our team and appoint a 3d Scanner Inspector.

Overseas candidates will NOT be considered for this role. We are not sponsoring Visa’s at this time, so please refrain from applying unless eligible to work in the UK

Key Responsibilities:

* Operate the Zeiss GOM 3D scanner to perform accurate inspections of components and assemblies.
* Analyse and interpret 3D scan data for part validation, ensuring dimensional accuracy against CAD models and technical drawings.
* Generate detailed inspection reports, highlighting any deviations or non-conformances.
* Work closely with the quality and production teams to resolve inspection-related issues.
* Maintain and calibrate the 3D scanning equipment to ensure optimal performance.
* Assist in developing scanning procedures and best practices for continuous improvement.

Key Requirements:

* Experience using Zeiss GOM 3D scanners or similar 3D scanning equipment is essential.
* Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and technical drawings.
* Familiarity with CAD software and reverse engineering processes.
* High attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances.
* Problem-solving skills and an ability to communicate findings effectively.
* Previous experience in a manufacturing or quality control environment is preferred.
