We are currently recruiting for an experienced and personable Science Teacher to support an excellent Secondary school in Up-minster. A candidate with a strong grasp of the science curriculum, a love of science, charm, and the ability to keep children interested and involved in the classroom would be the best fit for the role of science teacher.About SchoolThis school is dedicated to providing a high-quality education and supporting student’s personal growth.   • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons in line with the UK curriculum
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Implement effective teaching strategies that encompass active learning
  • Foster a nurturing and supportive classroom environment where every student feels valued and motivated
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and drive continuous improvement in teaching and learning
  • A commitment to raising achievement
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and school events to enrich student’s educational experiences

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – this is essential
  • Eligibility to work in the UK is essential
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service
  • Minimum of 3 Months teaching experience in the UK
  • Experience of teaching science in KS3 and KS4
  • Strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
  • Enthusiasm for professional development and a willingness to contribute to the wider school community
