The position
As a System Manager, you will play a crucial role in operating and maintaining IT systems used across API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) departments in Kalundborg.

Your responsibilities will include:

-Systematically maintaining documentation to ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory frameworks
-Contributing to incident management and systematic problem-solving within an ITIL framework
-Coordinating activities with various stakeholders, managing system maintenance and changes, and offering advice and consultancy to project and automation supporters
-Planning, driving and ensuring systematic periodic reviews are conducted timely
-Drive and report on Life Cycle Management, risk assessments, IT security, patching, user reviews in compliance with relevant requirements
-Contributing to a development of best practices and standards across the area
-Running small projects to ensure that our cross-site IT systems meet production and external requirements
-Managing the expectations of customers, system owners, end-users, quality assurance personnel, and other key stakeholders
-Collaborating with vendors to ensure deliverables and services are by agreements
Qualifications

To succeed in this position, we expect that you:

-Have a bachelor’s degree in IT, Information Science, or a similar field
-Have +5 years of relevant experience in IT system administration or big interest in and a desire to learn about managing IT systems in an regulated industry. 
-Are curious about risk management, user access management, change and release management, archiving and retention, and periodic system evaluation
-Having knowledge and experience in the life science industry, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) would be an added advantage
-Are fluent in English, both written and spoken

As a person, you have a structured approach to challenges. You enjoy working with documentation and possess a quality mindset. You like to collaborate with stakeholders of different professions, and your communication and interpersonal skills are exceptional.

About the Department
You will be joining a competent team within the IT department, which is a part of Business Support IT & Future Operation. API IT is responsible for driving IT/OT, security, compliance and production IT. We encourage professional sparring and best practice exchanges within our internal network of IT system managers and our central IT organization.
