Do you want to work with our Salzburg-based R&D product sustainment team? Do you enjoy collaborating with diverse stakeholders in production and product development to define and document manufacturing processes for our high-precision electro-mechanical and optical systems?

We are currently seeking a Technical Documentation Engineer (f/d/m) who will be responsible for the ongoing success and reliability of our product portfolio by providing our manufacturing teams with detailed guidelines and comprehensive documentation for assembly and test procedures.

What we’ll get you doing:

  • Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to develop and maintain work instructions, test instructions, and related documentation
  • Team up with subject matter experts to verify and improve documentation content, including details of the technical design and related assembly, adjustment and test processes
  • Join forces with the design and development teams to provide input on the design of new products, ensuring they meet requirements regarding manufacturability.

The essential requirements of the role include:

  • An engineering degree in electronics, mechanical engineering, mechatronics or a related field
  • 2+ years’ experience working in a manufacturing and/or product development environment
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex concepts in writing and graphically
  • Ability to independently manage multiple project tasks with competing deadlines
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of German and/or Chinese would be an advantage

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Using Solidworks Composer
  • Understanding technical concepts and mechanical principles, and interpreting engineering drawings or CAD data, along with familiarity with a wide range of manufacturing technologies
  • Working within an ISO quality environment

The minimum salary for this position, based on the applicable collective agreement, is €4,215.39 gross per month on a full-time basis (38.5 hours). A significant overpayment according to your qualifications and experience is a matter of course for us.
