This position is an essential part of a dedicated team, working closely with talented engineers to ensure the success of multiple development projects.Your primary responsibilities will be to facilitate the D-FMEA process, where you will collaborate with a cross-functional team to drive quality and consistency in the design process. Through your leadership, you will guide the team to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring they are reduced to an acceptable level. You will also ensure that the DFMEA methodology is uniformly applied during sessions, working with DFMEA owners to cover the correct scope and maintain high-quality standards.Additionally, you will actively participate in R&D development projects, including design reviews, where your input and support will enhance design quality. Your role will also include introducing innovative solutions to improve design, processes, and documentation. As an expert, you will contribute to continuous improvement efforts and share your knowledge to promote excellence in quality throughout the organization.The position requires strong leadership skills, as you will be responsible for guiding teams through the D-FMEA process and supporting team members throughout the development lifecycle.   • A candidate with a technical degree or equivalent experience, ideally in mechanical engineering or a related field, with relevant work experience in D-FMEA and design environments.
  • Solid understanding of the latest D-FMEA methodology, along with strong proficiency in Excel or similar FMEA tool software. Familiarity with the APQPWind framework and the use of Special Characteristics (CTX) is important, as is experience with quality methods such as 5Why analysis and 8D methods.
  • Strong presentation, moderation, and communication skills in English are essential, along with an analytical mindset and a technical understanding.
  • You approach product development with a Systems Engineering perspective and being committed to continuous improvement.
  • You are outgoing and proactive, with a focus on building strong relationships with stakeholders and a passion for working in an R&D environment where not all answers are known upfront.
  • Conflict management skills, strong solution and action orientation as well as the ability to work in a team.
